Colorful surfboards are lined up on sandy beach under a leafy tree, with straw umbrellas, wooden lounge chairs, and calm water in the background; scattered orange flowers dot the sand.

Explore Uncrowded Waves with a Local Surf Guide

What is a Surf Guiding Tour?

Our surf guiding tours are designed for surfers who already have basic board control and want to experience the best waves South Lombok has to offer. With a local guide leading the way, you’ll discover a variety of reef breaks suited to your level, avoid crowded spots, and get real-time advice on positioning, wave selection, and local conditions. It’s not a lesson — it’s a guided surf experience with expert support in the water.

What's Included in Your Surf Lesson

Our surf guiding sessions include return transport from Kuta Lombok, expert local guide in the water with you, surfboard rental (optional), and access to remote breaks by scooter or boat depending on location. We’ll help you select the right board and spot based on your ability and the day’s conditions.

Where We Surf & Why It Matters

South Lombok is home to some of Indonesia’s most consistent and varied waves — and we know them all. Depending on conditions and your ability, we may guide you to:

  • Mawi Beach – A-frame reef break with fast lefts and fun rights

  • Gerupuk Outside – Long mellow rights accessed by boat

  • Ekas Bay – Remote waves with fewer crowds and long rides

  • Seger Reef – A fast right-hander near town, ideal on small-to-medium swell

You’ll get the local knowledge to paddle out with confidence, time your sessions right, and make the most of each wave.
